Souderton Area High School Unified Sports has been recertified as a Special Olympics National Banner Unified Champion School.
A Special Olympics National Banner Unified Champion School demonstrates a commitment to inclusion by meeting 10 standards of excellence. These standards were developed by a national panel of leaders from Special Olympics and the education community. It's a prestigious distinction which celebrates the “best of the best” inclusive school communities.
We are so proud of the athletes, faculty, and community for building and welcoming inclusive environments, friendships, and communities for all.

The Club is organized for the purpose of supporting the Unified and Special Olympics Sports and Leadership program at Souderton Area High School, including raising funds, organizing volunteers, and fostering school spirit, awareness, engagement, and inclusion for all participating students.

Souderton Unified Sports is a program that brings together Special Olympic athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to foster inclusion and friendship through sports, clubs and monthly activities. It's a way for students of all abilities to participate, learn, and grow together, promoting understanding and breaking down barriers.

Supported activities include:
Fall: Bowling, Strength & Conditioning, Youth Summit
Winter: Bocce, Polar Plunge
Spring: Track, National Inclusion Celebration, Recognition Banquet, Special Olympics Field Day
